Oh and one more thing about me... I love food and love to eat! Yes, I know my size doesn't reflect my passion for food but nonetheless, I can easily put away a good dinner!

I've realized over the last few years how lucky I am to live where I do and to have such a wide variety of food available. One of my favorite things to make dinner with Kenny. With him is the key word! We work well together in the kitchen and I love making meals together.

Although we have traveled all over the US, there are many places we dream of going someday... South America (the rainforest), Alaska, Ireland, Iceland, Italy & Germany.
I would love to see some of the places I've read about.

I was lucky enough to meet the man of my dreams... Kenny. We've been together through thick and thin... just over 17 years now. Not only is he my best friend, he is my soulmate.

He is truly my best friend and an inspiration to me. When I'm down, he's there to pick me up. When I'm happy, he's there to share it with me. I treasure every day with him and pray that we have many more years together.

I'm an avid reader and enjoy many different types of books. My mom taught me to enjoy books at a young age and I have never lost that love of books and a good story.

As I'm sure you can tell, we are animal lovesr and love to spend time with all different kinds of animals. We love to be surrounded by furry & feathered personalities!

We enjoy watching the wild birds in our yard. We have a pretty good variety of species. I've taken some nice pictures in the spring before the trees have leafed out and you can get a better look at all the birds in the trees.

We have a pair of vultures that lay eggs every year in one of the abadoned sheds on our land. We enjoy watching the progress from eggs to full sized Black Vultures. I'm putting together a page of our vulture pictures: click here

There are a few animals that are on our *wish list*
Hyacinth macaw, horses, mini horses & alpacas.

We took up archery a few years ago and it's become a great hobby for us. We've gone to a few competitions and 3D shoots. We'll be attending many more this summer. I have a Mathews bow and Kenny has a Hoyt bow. We have a range set up on our land. Hopefully this year I will be better than Kenny (he whupped me last year!).
